Established in the State of São Paolo, this family company produces orange juice concentrates, essential oils, and derivative products.
With two production sites, in Araras and Colina, and a team of 170 employees, it owns its plantations and also works in collaboration with 35 local growers and collectives.

Sucorrico belongs to Grupasso, a family group created 55 years ago by a dynamic and visionary entrepreneur, Laïr Antônio de Souza.
Its activities are diverse and linked to agri-business: milk (the first Brazilian producer), fertilizers, plastic packaging, etc.

Company plantations extend over 8,000 hectares, of which 4,500 hectares are dedicated to growing oranges and 3,500 to corn and sugar cane.
The company holds a 30 percent stake and its contract partners are 70 percent proprietors.

The proximity of the source guarantees rapid treatment of the fruit after harvest, and quality control
guarantees compliance with international and Brazilian regulations as well as European Community norms and those of the European Fruit Juice Association (AIJN).
The company assures management of waste, recycling of fruit residue for animal nourishment, and water treatment in compliance with Brazilian regulations.

Convinced of the significance of human beings in the development of the company and the success of its business, Sucorrico adheres to the principles of the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) and has adopted the ethical evaluation reference of SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit). Specifically oriented toward food quality and security, Sucorrico follows GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) procedures.
